Ocean View Supports the Children of Chornobyl Relief Fundraiser |

The Children of Chornobyl Relief and Development Fund held their Help the Children Fundraiser on Sunday, October 7, 2007. This was a great event hosted at the Acqualina Resort, sponsored in part by Ocean View International Realty, and chaired by our very own Oksana Piaseckyj of our Sunny Isles Beach office.
We were treated to musical entertainment by Vasyl Popadiuk, and a silent auction provided an opportunity to further assist the children through this worthy cause. The plight of the children of Chornobyl was described in poignant detail by Ambassador Oleh Shamshur the Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States, Lewis Thaler the Vice Mayor of Sunny Isles Beach, and Doctor Steven E. Schultz, one of the team of doctors directly responsible for assisting in the establishment of several NICU units in the Ukraine.
